We are now only submitting helpful Ultra Fractal Resources and Tutorials as deviations to the club gallery. We won't pass any judgment on work that is added to the general collection, but will select exceptional work for features in club updates and news articles. However, we suggest that you should only submit pieces you take some pride in, as our collection is meant to be a showcase of the best efforts of all of our members. You may submit work for the club collection as often as you like. Please don't hesitate to send us a note with any UF mixed media pieces you would like us to see. Artwork submitted to the club should have dominant or obvious Ultra Fractal elements and will be accepted in club submissions at the discretion of staff. New features in UF 5 have made it possible to incorporate non-fractal elements in UF work, and the club rules are evolving with the capabilities of the program. We have changed our submission rules to allow Mixed Media Ultra Fractal artwork. All work should be created in Ultra Fractal. This could be especially useful if you want help with something specific or technical, but is of course optional. If you like, you can also provide parameters. It could be a specific problem area or maybe you're just looking for some different perspectives. If you have a fractal that you would like some help with or want to offer up for constructive suggestions, please send a note with a thumbnail of the piece and a short description of what you would like help with. Even if you don't feel comfortable participating, I think we can all learn from comments and suggestions from other members. Giving help and constructive suggestions is a great way to get yourself thinking about ways to improve your own art too.
Either way, we all get stuck sometimes and I think this could be a great way to help each other out.
It could be either a finished piece that's posted in your gallery, or a nearly-finished work in progress posted in your scraps. We're going to start a new regular journal feature that will give all of you the chance to have your art posted in the journal for constructive suggestions, help and feedback from fellow members.
